A little 9 mile RT hikes into the wilderness area just south of Mueller State Park south of Divide, CO. The goal today was to hike out to Dome Rock and then up to the top. The hike was mostly along a hiker's trail that ran to the right side of the creek. Tough to hike for me as it was narrow and in many places footing was critical as you could fall 50' into the creek below. Took about 2 hours to get the base of Dome Rock. The "ascent" of the rock was a little hairy as there was no easy way up and we had not brought a rope. My hiking partner Bob has written a nice trip report which can be found here:
