Day 5 - June 24 - Burns Lake, BC -> Prince Rupert, BC : The first 6 hours were spent driving from Burns Lake the 320 miles or so to Prince Rupert. I then grabbed a nice hotel room right away. Then, proceeded to check out the town. Had a nice salmon salad for lunch at a local cafe. After that a 1.5 hour seaplane ride in an old DeHavilland Beaver (9 cylinder, 1950's, high-wing, float plane). After that I hung out at the commercial fishing pier and watched the boats come in. Saw lots of cool fish and alaskan king crab. Quick dinner and early to bed by 9 p.m.
